Rain Chains are from Japan Culture..... Their purpose is Mainly decorative, to make a water feature out of the transport of rainwater from the guttering downwards to a drain or to a storage container. (Rainwater is sometimes collected for household usage.) They can be found on temples in Japan
I used Sea glass and Stones we collected from Kennebunkport Beach over the last 2 yrs....The Largest Glass at the top is from an old Boat wreck off the coast near the Dark Shadows House....a few of the other pieces are from Camden and Boothbay Harbor Maine....
